5 years ago today, Officer Joseph Weekley murdered 7 year old Aiyana Stanley-Jones while she was asleep.
After his 2nd mistrial in January, all charges were dismissed against Joseph Weekley and he will not be retried. In April he was restored to active duty as a Detroit police officer.
Use the hashtag #AiyanasDreams between May 16-23 to post pictures of what Aiyana may have been dreaming about when she was murdered or what she would have dreamed about if she was alive today. Black girls deserve to dream.

Comedian Mike Faverman throws a tantrum after being turned down by a woman
Screenshots of comedian Mike Faverman allegedly harassing a woman who rejected him went viral this week. The anonymous woman replied to his text offer with a polite rejection which led Faverman to unleash several paragraphs about her weight, her appearance and women in general. Faverman has since replied to the backlash by accusing the woman of wrongdoing.
